யாழ். புங்குடுதீவு ஸ்ரீகணேச மகா வித்தியாலயத்தின் நூற் றாண்டு விழாவின் இறுதிநாள் நிகழ்வு இன்று புதன்கிழமை காலைத மாலை இரு நிகழ்வுகளாக நடை பெறவுள்ளது.
இதில் வித்தியாலய அதிபர் எஸ்.கே. சண்முகலிங்கம் தலைமையில் காலை 9 மணிக்கு ஆரம்பமாகும் நிகழ்வில் வித்தியாலய பெயர் திரைநீக்கம் மற்றும் பிரதம விருந்தினராகக் கலந்து கொள்ளும் வடமாகாண கல்வி அமைச்சின் செயலாளர் இ. இளங்கோவனால் நூற்றாண்டு நினைவுக்கல் திரை நீக்கம் ஆகியன இடம்பெறவுள்ளன.
தொடர்ந்து நிகழ்வில் சிறப்பு ரையை யாழ். பல்கலைக்கழக புவி யியற் துறைத் தலைவர் பேராசிரியர் கா.குகபாலன் வழங்கவுள்ளார்.
மேலும் செல்வி சைந்தவி பரமேஸ் வரனின் இன்னிசைக் கச்சேரியும் ஏனைய கலை நிகழ்ச்சிகளும் நடை பெறவுள்ளன.
மாலை நிகழ்வுகள் நூற்றாண்டு விழாக் குழுத்தலைவர் த. துரைசிங் கம் தலைமையில் மாலை 3 மணிக்கு ஆரம்பமாகும். நிகழ்வில் ‘கணேசதீபம்’ என்னும் நூற்றாண்டு மலர் வெளியி டப்படவுள்ளதுடன் நூல் வெளியீட் டுரையை பேராசிரியர் எஸ். சிவலிங் கராசா வழங்கவுள்ளார்.
தொடர்ந்து தமிழகத்தின் தலை சிறந்த பேச்சாளர் சொல்வேந்தர் சுகி சிவம் சிறப்புரை வழங்கவுள்ளார்.
